CubiCasa Tour or iGUIDE for Your Listing
A CubiCasa Tour helps buyers connect my professional photographs to the floor plan. An iGUIDE gives them a more immersive way to look around the home. I recommend choosing based on the viewing experience you want to provide.
CubiCasa connects the photographs to the rooms
In a CubiCasa Tour, photo markers show approximately where the photographs were taken. A viewer can select a marker to see the still photograph associated with that position.
This is especially useful with bedrooms that look similar. Instead of trying to work out which photograph belongs to which room, the viewer has the floor plan for context.
Automatic marker placement can need adjustment. In my workflow, I often position the pins manually to make the relationship clearer. CubiCasa describes both automatic placement and manual marker adjustment.
The image remains the composition I photographed. Viewers see that particular angle rather than turning around within it.
iGUIDE lets the viewer look around
An iGUIDE uses captured 360-degree views. From a viewpoint, the buyer can look left or right and explore more of the room, then move through the available captured positions.
I love that interactive experience, and some of my Realtors and clients particularly value it. It gives buyers a broader view than a set of selected still compositions, which is useful when buyers want to understand more than one camera angle.
iGUIDE also uses LiDAR measurement technology for its floor plans. That measurement process is one of the reasons I value it. See iGUIDE’s published measurement information for the manufacturer’s specifications.
My recommendation
Choose CubiCasa when the main need is to connect the photographs to the layout. Upgrade to iGUIDE when you want buyers to feel more involved in exploring the space, particularly when they are viewing from a distance.
